A conversation about meditation with Joe Somodi

March 2, 2017 By Sharon

Joe Somodi and I got together for some real talk on meditation. Why is it important? What will it do for you? I share how it helped me cope during my mother’s illness.

In my new book, 365 Ways to Live Generously: Simple Habits for a Life That’s Good for You and for Others, mindfulness is the second Generosity habit, and the book walks you through creating a meditation habit. You can pick up your own copy of it at Amazon.

If you don’t know Joe, his mission is to help people gain hyper-clear insight into their lives. Over the past decade, he has traveled across the United States teaching in a wide variety of settings, giving lectures and offering practices to help people become clear and steady in mind, radiating confidence and purpose and embodying joy. His teachings seamlessly bridge the time-tested wisdom of Hatha Tantra Yoga and the needs of the modern world.

Joe holds multiple certifications in the health and wellness industry. He is a certified yoga teacher with over a thousand hours of practical teaching, enlightening and helping thousands of individuals. He is a Level 1 Certified ParaYoga teacher, a certified Life Coach and a level 2 Reiki practitioner. He also holds a 200-hour certification from Sonic Yoga in New York City.
